How an industrial dehumidifier works
An industrial dehumidifier works on the principle of condensation. A compressor or condensing dehumidifier is an effective device for reducing air humidity in commercial or industrial environments. A compressor located inside the device compresses and cools the air, which in turn leads to the condensation of moisture. The compressed air is then passed through a cooler and its temperature is reduced to the dew point. The condensate that forms in this process is removed from the dehumidifier, and the remaining air is heated and released outside into the production space.
Adsorption dehumidifier
An adsorption dehumidifier has a slightly different operating principle. It consists in the fact that humid air is sucked in through a fan, after which it passes through an adsorbent that absorbs water, thereby reducing its concentration in the air. When the adsorbent is saturated with moisture, the process is resumed by regenerating the adsorbent. This process can take place by blowing or heating the adsorbent.
