Low Inlet Pressure Compressor Unit Based on 3SGI Compressor

The station is designed to compress natural gas from gas networks with a pressure (overpressure) of 0.2 to 0.6 MPa (2.0 to 6 kgf/cm2) and a capacity of 375 to 921 nm3/hour.

Input filter

The inlet filter is designed to purify the gas supplied to the compressor and is a vessel whose design is shown in the figure. For gas purification, a filter element 3 with a filtration fineness of 5 microns is used, which is designed for operation for approximately 9000 hours of BC operation (filter operation depends on the contamination of the supplied gas).

Operation of compressor unit components and systems

The compressor unit (SKID) is mounted on a welded frame 1, which is based on a welded steel frame 2. The frame is equipped with a compressor 3 and an electric motor 4 connected by an elastic sleeve-and-finger coupling 5 with a protective casing; 6 – purge tank; 7 – moisture and oil separators of the first; 8 (VMO1) and fourth 11 (VMO4) stages.

On the vertical racks of the frame 1 are mounted: moisture and oil separators of the second 9 (VMO2) and third 10 (VMO3) stages, pressure gauge panel 23, explosion-proof local control post 15 with start, stop, and emergency stop buttons.
