The company “Dalgakiran” presents industrial nitrogen production units

Nitrogen production is an extremely important function served by a class of air separation equipment. The company “DALGAKIRAN”, known in more than 100 countries worldwide as a supplier of industrial units, presents Ideal Makina (Turkey) nitrogen generators in Ukraine.

The nitrogen production units we offer have a wide range of models and high quality, allowing “Dalgakiran” to occupy a leading position among suppliers of industrial gas generators.

Features of nitrogen generators

The use of non-cryogenic gas separation methods in our equipment — PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) — makes it possible to select the parameters of working stations according to individual production needs in terms of nitrogen purity and quantity. The compact design of the units solves the issue of creating your own station for preparing technical gas mixtures in close proximity to their place of use.

In addition, our equipment allows industrial enterprises to completely отказаться from the transportation, storage, and refilling of gas cylinders. The versatility of nitrogen mixture generators is manifested in the ability to integrate the unit’s own control system into a single monitoring network of the entire production.

The advantages of the nitrogen production units we offer include:

  • purity of the produced gas mixture — 95–99.9999%;
  • high productivity of the nitrogen unit — 5.5 thousand m3/hour and more;
  • automation system that reduces the impact of the human factor;
  • long period of continuous operation before scheduled replacement of the adsorbent molecular sieve;
  • long period of trouble-free operation of the nitrogen unit.

Operating principle of PSA nitrogen stations

Nitrogen generators consist of two columns containing CMS (carbon molecular sieve). Pre-cleaned compressed air passes through one of the columns filled with CMS. The molecular sieve separates nitrogen from oxygen, carbon monoxide, argon, and other gases (permeate). The resulting nitrogen goes into the receiver. Meanwhile, other gases separated by CMS are released into the atmosphere. After the first column completes its cycle (the time interval is set by the control system), compressed air is directed into the second column with CMS. At this time, the regeneration process of the molecular sieve occurs in the first column. Thus, continuous production of gaseous nitrogen is ensured by the tandem (synchronous) operation of the two generator columns.

Applications of gaseous nitrogen

  • Oil production. Vegetable oils have a molecular structure that is easily destroyed upon contact with oxygen. Oxidation occurs when oxygen from the air interacts with fatty acid triglyceride molecules. Thanks to the use of gaseous nitrogen, oxygen and moisture are removed from the environment during the technological process of sunflower oil production, including its bottling.
  • Food packaging. In addition to using nitrogen to create an oxygen-free environment during raw material processing and food production, it is widely used in packaging. An oxygen-free environment is created inside each package, significantly extending the shelf life of food products such as nuts, potato chips, candies, coffee, tea, dried fruits, etc. During packaging, undesirable components such as oxygen and moisture are removed, and the inside of the package is filled with gaseous nitrogen, allowing products to remain fresh for a long time.
  • Transportation. Due to its high chemical inertness, gaseous nitrogen is widely used for transporting hazardous flammable cargo by sea, rail, and road transport. Nitrogen fills cavities in cargo compartments and tanks containing liquids and bulk (powdery) substances. In addition to transporting hazardous goods, nitrogen is also used for transporting vegetables, fruits, and other agricultural products.
  • Automotive industry, aviation. Nitrogen is used as an inert gas in the production of gas shock absorbers for both automobiles and aircraft landing gear. In addition, gaseous nitrogen is used for filling car tires and in aviation. At low temperatures at high altitudes, air in tires begins to condense and damage their internal structure due to moisture. Oxidation of condensate inside the tire is prevented with gaseous nitrogen. Moreover, tires filled with nitrogen gas lose pressure three times more slowly than pneumatic tires. Emergency evacuation slides, inflatable boats, and life jackets are also inflated with nitrogen.
  • Electronics. Gaseous nitrogen provides an oxygen-free environment during the assembly, packaging, and soldering of printed circuit boards, preventing oxidation and ensuring higher product quality.
  • Heat treatment of metals. Gaseous nitrogen is used to prevent harmful formations such as oxidation and corrosion during heat treatment of metals, as well as to create an oxygen-free environment in aluminum melting furnaces.
  • Pharmaceuticals. Transportation and processing of ingredients in pharmaceutical production, as well as their packaging, must occur without contact with oxygen, moisture, and bacteria. This is ensured by creating a nitrogen inert environment.
  • Chemical industry. Gaseous nitrogen is used to create an oxygen-free and dry environment in technological processes involving flammable and explosive substances, as well as where oxidation reactions must be avoided. High-pressure gaseous nitrogen is used for the safe transfer of chemical products from one tank to another. It is used in the process of safely removing residual atmospheric oxygen and moisture from purification tanks, silos, and pipelines.
  • Laser cutting. Nitrogen is an auxiliary gas used in laser metal cutting. It is supplied under pressure to blow molten metal out of the cutting zone. At the same time, the use of nitrogen prevents oxidation of the processed metal and the formation of burrs on the cut edges.
  • Cable production. Gaseous nitrogen is used in the process of coating wire during cable manufacturing. Another area of nitrogen use in wire production is the hot-dip galvanizing process.

Equipment quality and certification

Here you can purchase modular nitrogen production stations that have passed inspections and received certificates of conformity from the State Committee of Ukraine for Technical Regulation, with quality confirmed by UkrSEPRO certificates. The pure nitrogen generators presented by “Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine” have been tested and received certificates of compliance with international standards ISO 9001, Rostest, TSE, TUV, Lloyd, Bureau Veritas, and RosStandard.

Supply and service

We sell air separation nitrogen generators delivered to “Dalgakiran” warehouses directly from the manufacturer’s production line.
