Dalgakiran DA Series Desiccant Compressed Air Dryers

In cases where it is necessary to prepare compressed air with the maintenance of a low dew point temperature, industrial compressed air dryers of the adsorption type are used. Dalgakiran DA series dryers produce very dry air of the 2nd purity class according to ISO 8573-1.

Dalgakiran’s DA series compressed air dehumidification unit consists of two towers filled with adsorbent (aluminum oxide) connected to an automatic valve system that is designed to avoid possible pressure loss in the pipes when switching from the dehumidification to the regeneration position. The compressed air passes through one of the two adsorption towers and exits the same tower with the required dew point. At the same time, the other adsorption tower is in the regeneration mode, i.e. the moisture that was previously adsorbed by the fuel is displaced from the circulation by a small fraction of dry air (about 15%) expanded at atmospheric pressure. The DA series adsorption dehumidification units are regenerated without heat, using dry air. The regeneration process is carried out at atmospheric pressure, so it is necessary to decompress the regenerating tower before the process starts and bring it to operating pressure (pressurize) as soon as it has finished the process.

The DA series compressed air dryers are controlled by reliable Siemens PLCs to ensure optimum performance throughout the entire service life of the units. The PLC touchscreen is capable of displaying cycles, valve status, and dew point in real time.

The DA series industrial compressed air adsorption dryers are compact frame-mounted units that are delivered after thorough testing and adjustment in the factory.
