HD Series dehumidifiers:

These units are designed to prepare compressed air at enterprises that use compressor equipment and require dry air for technological purposes.

Principle of operation and design of compressed air dryers

In refrigerated dehumidifiers, moisture separation occurs when the air passing through the heat exchangers is cooled. The water vapor condenses and collects in a mist eliminator (separator). The collected liquid is drained automatically (tanks with level controllers). The outlet is clean, dry air suitable for use in industrial equipment according to production standards.

• Compact sheet metal body with anti-corrosion powder coating (dimensions of the smallest Hankinson HHD 21 model are only 390×344×320 mm with a weight of 15 kg).
• Plate heat exchangers made of AISI 304 stainless steel with copper coating.
• X-Drain timer or electronic condensate drains.
• LED indicators for pressure dew point.
• Availability of control valves (high and low pressure shredders).
• Environmentally friendly R134a and R404a freon.

Optional devices are available to control the frequency of the compressed air dryers and save energy (consumption reduction from 0.8 kW). High-performance models (from HHD thousand) are equipped with water cooling systems.

• protection class IP23 (up to model 820), IP44 (from model 1000);
• spark arrester – protection against burning of contacts when the fan is turned on;
• up to 70% energy savings (connecting additional Digital Scroll® Technology appliances).
