Oxygen station for Vynogradiv District Hospital

Oxygen in the form of an air mixture enriched with it is widely used in medical institutions to facilitate the breathing of patients in intensive care units, surgery, intensive care units, maternity wards, etc. In most cases, the source of oxygen in hospitals is concentrators or cylinders filled with it. Given that cylinders need to be constantly refilled, and concentrators provide only one bed, this often leads to interruptions in the supply of oxygen to patients when it is necessary to change oxygen cylinders or prepare an oxygen concentrator for another patient. An alternative and solution to the problem is to use a stationary oxygen station.
Representatives of Medremtekhmontazh PE approached our company with a request to manufacture such an oxygen station for the Vynogradiv District Hospital. According to the technical requirements of the customer, the specialists of Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine developed a station that can be used as both the main and backup source of oxygen production and transportation to the hospital system.
Gaseous oxygen is generated from atmospheric air at the place of its use – on the hospital premises. Oxygen is supplied to patients through a system of oxygen pipelines installed in the hospital, which has significantly increased the number of beds simultaneously connected to the oxygen supply system.
The oxygen station KS-20/0.5 U3 is based on equipment from DALGAKIRAN – a TIDY series screw compressor and Dryair DK110 refrigerated air dryers. Oxymat equipment is used as an oxygen generator. The station control is automated – the operator has the ability to control pressure, temperature, concentration and oxygen output. Since the KS-20/0.5 U3 was designed for a medical facility, not only mechanical cleaning filters but also special antibacterial filters are used to ensure the purity of gaseous oxygen.
The oxygen generation capacity is 20 cubic meters per hour with an oxygen concentration of 93±%. The station is designed for operation in enclosed spaces with artificially regulated climatic conditions (ventilation, heating and lighting) at an ambient temperature of 10 to 30°C.
The plant was successfully commissioned in August this year.
