DALGAKIRAN compressor equipment at the Champagne Ukraine winery

Champagne of Ukraine LLC is a winemaking enterprise that includes a full production cycle. Own vineyards, harvesting and processing, production of wine materials and wine. The production association has a rich history dating back to 1944, when the state farm of the same name was founded. The rich traditions and culture of production, multiplied by the priority of developing the technical base, have turned the former Soviet enterprise into the flagship of Ukrainian winemaking. Today, the vineyard area exceeds 400 hectares, and almost every Ukrainian knows the brands – French Boulevard, Grande cuvee, and ODESSA.

Even in the midst of the war, the company continues to develop and expand its primary winemaking operations. Recently, a new workshop for the production of wine materials was put into operation. The shop is equipped with modern Italian pneumatic presses DELLA TOFFOLA. Compressed air is used to drive the actuators of these presses. Thus, representatives of Champagne Ukraine LLC turned to the DALGAKIRAN branch in Odesa with a request for the calculation and selection of a compressor for the new equipment.

In addition to the performance and energy efficiency required for the presses, one of the customer’s requirements was that the compressor equipment could also be used for the nitrogen generation system that is also planned to be installed as part of the production expansion.

Based on the task set, the specialists of Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine offered the DALGAKIRAN Tidy 40B screw compressor, which fully meets the customer’s technical requirements. This model has:

• efficient screw block with a long service life;
• capacity – 4600 liters of compressed air per minute at a pressure of 7 bar;
• an efficient combined cooling system that allows operation at ambient temperatures of up to 45 degrees Celsius;
• a modern automation system with an LCD panel for equipment control.

It is worth noting that working with wine materials requires a high degree of compressed air purity. The Tidy series compressors have a three-stage oil separation system that produces air with a residual oil content of less than 3 ppm. In addition, a suitable compressed air treatment system was selected. A refrigerated dehumidifier with built-in filters from DALGAKIRAN will be responsible for cleaning it from moisture and dust.

An additional factor in favor of choosing equipment from Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine is the presence of a regional service center in Odesa, which carries out scheduled maintenance and can resolve any issues in the shortest possible time.
