Reliable backup for Kharkiv city hospitals with Cummins Power generators

Kharkiv City Hospitals No. 17 and 18 are modern medical facilities with a high level of technical equipment. Highly qualified specialists, comfortable wards and the latest equipment contribute to effective treatment and quick recovery of patients. Endoscopic operating rooms, diagnostic equipment, ventilators and advanced laboratory equipment require proper and trouble-free operation.

According to the PUE (rules for electrical installations), medical facilities are classified as organizations with the highest reliability priority, and an interruption in power supply poses a danger to human life.

Together with a partner company, Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine specialists selected, supplied and commissioned diesel generators at the request and under the terms of reference of Kharkiv Clinical Hospitals No. 17 and 18. Now these medical facilities are provided with uninterrupted power supply by reliable diesel power plants.

Main technical characteristics of the installed diesel generators

The Cummins C330D5 diesel generators have a standby power of 264 kW and a constant power of 240 kW, which is enough to power all the electrical equipment of each hospital. They are equipped with electronic frequency regulators designed to supply power to highly sensitive equipment. The units are powered by powerful Cummins QSL9G7 diesel engines with a displacement of 8.8 liters. The production of Cummins Power diesel generators complies with the ISO9001 (ISO9002) standard and the 2000/14/EC noise directive.

The generators are equipped with automatic backup systems. This allows medical facilities to instantly switch to emergency power supply in the event of a power outage. Thus, two more hospitals in Kharkiv have improved the quality of their technical infrastructure and ensured a high level of patient safety.

At the moment, the diesel generators have already been put into operation, and their maintenance is the responsibility of the service specialists of the DALGAKIRAN branch in Kharkiv. The presence of branches in the largest cities of Ukraine and the largest service fleet allows us to respond promptly to customer requests, ensuring the proper operation of equipment at critical infrastructure facilities.
