Puratos Ukraine – innovative technologies in bakery, confectionery and chocolate production

Puratos Ukraine LLC is one of the hundreds of subsidiaries of the large international corporation Puratos, which has a network of branches in 63 countries. Its enterprises located on four continents employ 5,600 people. Puratos has a rich and eventful history of about a hundred years. Founded in Brussels, Belgium, back in 1919, it initially specialized in the production of excellent Belgian chocolate, but eventually expanded its business to include bakery products and pastries.

Today, the corporation offers its partners from more than a hundred countries the widest range of various products and ingredients used in bread, confectionery and chocolate production. Special seminars are held to train customers in the technological secrets and specifics of using Puratos products.
The company’s products are manufactured at 50 plants located around the world. Among the company’s customers are thousands of professional bakers who use Puratos ingredients in their work. At 54 Innovation Centers supported by the corporation, these bakers have the opportunity to share their experience, learn about new Puratos products, and exchange recipes and ideas.

For larger manufacturers who prioritize product quality and customer satisfaction, Puratos produces high-quality industrial ingredients and additives that ensure excellent freshness, lightness, softness, flavor and aroma for large volumes of products. In special laboratories, including mobile laboratories, the corporation helps manufacturers to develop technological processes and improve recipes, and the corporation’s specialists test production lines, helping to finalize the final product.

Puratos also cooperates with large supermarket chains, not only providing their bakeries with ingredients, but also helping to establish a technological process and marketing policy.

When Puratos Ukraine LLC was faced with the question of purchasing a backup power supply for the company, the company, which is accustomed to using high-end equipment in its operations, opted for a Cummins C66D5diesel generator with a 66kVA standby capacity.

The unit was delivered in November 2012 by Dalgakiran. The company’s employees carried out the installation and subsequent maintenance of the generator. Over the past period, the operation of the installed generator, as expected from Cummins, has never caused any complaints. Puratos was also satisfied with the work of Dalgakiran engineers who performed its maintenance.
