Delta Wilmar CIS, one of the most important players in the Ukrainian edible oils and fats market, was established in December 2004. The company’s tropical oils transshipment and processing facility in Yuzhny port was designed to handle 2,100 tons of bulk products and 750 tons of packaged products per day.

Long-term cooperation

DALGAKIRAN equipment was first delivered to Delta Wilmar in early 2008. At that time, the construction of the second stage of the production complex in Pivdennyi port was completed and it was necessary to put it into operation.

“At the time of our first delivery, the main owner of the plant was the Malaysian side, and a group of leading engineers and technologists were foreigners,” recalls Alexey Ivlev, head of the southern branch of Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine. – “In terms of technical requirements, we managed to reach a complete understanding with the construction project managers.

As a result, four compressors, three compressed air dryers, six large-volume air intakes and a filter system were delivered. In addition, after the contract was completed, the plant’s specialists eagerly accepted the offer of our service department for additional maintenance of their existing compressor fleet.”

Some of the processes involved in the refining of tropical oils require compressed air with a very low moisture content, as well as additional purification. To meet these requirements, at the end of 2011, at the request of Delta Wilmar, Dalgakiran supplied two hot regeneration adsorption dryers with a dew point of minus ^40oCand a fine filtration system.
