Horlivka Machine-Building Plant
The main products of Horlivka Machine-Building Plant are shearers and units for coal mining in mines. During the industry’s financial heyday, the plant in Horlivka was busy for many months in advance, and its products were used in mines throughout the southern CIS region.

Decentralization as a method of saving money
In the difficult financial environment, the plant’s utilization dropped by more than half, and management was faced with the need to either reform the work in the shops or accept significant production losses.
The plant decided to decentralize, and Dalgakiran specialists offered their own version of the hardware implementation of this decision. The old powerful but very uneconomical reciprocating compressors were replaced with smaller screw units.
With the new equipment, it is possible to supply compressed air only to the machines involved in the shop, rather than connecting the entire plant.
“Our compressors allow for autonomous operation,” said Alexander Cherkasov, head of Dalgakiran’s Donetsk branch. – “In addition, our equipment turned out to be the most interesting for machine builders in terms of price.
Like the Germans, but only better
The best price/quality ratio was not the only advantage of Dalgakiran’s equipment. Customers noted the quality of the compressors, which was not inferior to the best world models, and even surpassed analogues, for example, from Germany, in terms of equipment.
A pleasant surprise for the mining engineers was the excellent service provided by Dalgakiran, which maintains a 24/7 response time to service requests.
In December 2011, Horlivka Machine-Building changed ownership. Rinat Akhmetov’s System Capital Management, which owns a controlling stake in the enterprise, plans to further reduce the energy intensity of production.
It is possible that Horlivka Machine-Building Plant will soon need new equipment. Dalgakiran has a lot to offer.
