Diesel power plants with a total capacity of 5600 kVA and a voltage of 6.3 kV for Naftogazvydobuvannya, DTEK

At the end of 2022, Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine successfully completed another turnkey project for the production, supply and synchronization of two powerful diesel power plants for Naftogazvydobuvannya, DTEK.
As of today, the DALGAKIRAN DJ2800MS power plants delivered and synchronized with each other are the most powerful medium voltage diesel generators in Ukraine. The reserve capacity of each of them is 2800 kVA (2240 kW) at a voltage of 6300 (6.3 kV).
Due to the parallel operation in synchronization mode, the total reserve capacity of the power plants is 5600 kilovolt-amps. Startup, control and synchronization are performed both automatically and manually using the company’s own control panel (DSE), which ensures convenient, safe and efficient operation of the equipment.
The DALGAKIRAN DJ2800MS power plants use industrial engines from Mitsubishi (Japan). A 16-cylinder V-shaped diesel engine with a capacity of more than 3100 hp consumes 566 liters of fuel per hour at 100% reserve (peak) load, and 393 liters per hour at 75% of the nominal (operating) load. A 1000-liter fuel tank and an automatic fuel pumping system ensure uninterrupted operation of the generators around the clock. Current generation with a voltage of 6300 volts is provided by Leroy-Somer alternators (France).
All components and assemblies of the DALGAKIRAN DJ2800MS diesel power plants are housed in specially manufactured noise-proof all-weather containers. The containers have a protection class of at least IP54 and are equipped with interior and exterior lighting and a heating system.
Despite the excitement and high demand for generator equipment that arose in connection with the missile strikes on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, our company managed to complete the project on time. Dalgakiran engineers carried out supervision and commissioning works at the customer’s site, successfully synchronizing the generators and connecting them to the company’s network.
