DALGAKIRAN DVK D screw compressors to provide compressed air to the main production shops of AvtoKrAZ

At the beginning of 2022, Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine supplied air compressors to PJSC AvtoKrAZ. For many years, the Ukrainian brand KRAZ has been synonymous with powerful and durable special-purpose vehicles not only in Ukraine but also around the world. 70% of the vehicles manufactured by the company are exported abroad and used in more than 70 countries. The military, construction, mining and utilities are the main customers of KRAZ vehicles. In each of these industries, customers have come to appreciate the optimal price-quality ratio, efficiency, robust frame, unpretentiousness in operation, driver comfort and all-terrain capability of the vehicles.

Civilian vehicles are represented by 4×2, 4×4, 6×4, 6×6, 8×4, 8×6 wheel configurations, including flatbed trucks, dump trucks, tractors, and logging trucks. Military vehicles based on KrAZ chassis have already gained military glory during the war. Among them are Grad, Uragan and Bastion MLRS, Bogdana self-propelled artillery systems, Neptune missile system, Burshtyn radar station, as well as Cougar, Spartan, Hulk and Shrek 4×4 armored vehicles.

It is worth noting that AvtoKrAZ is the only Ukrainian manufacturer of trucks and special vehicles with a fully closed production cycle.

As part of the modernization of the compressed air supply system, modern energy-efficient DALGAKIRAN screw compressors were installed in the main workshops of the enterprise. Three DVK 150D and one DVK 220D with a total capacity of almost 90^m3/min cover most of the company’s compressed air needs.

The DVK D series rotary screw compressors use a direct drive system, which ensures higher energy efficiency and lower vibration levels compared to belt-driven compressors. Thanks to the vibration and noise isolation system, even the most powerful models in the series have a noise level of less than 79 dBA.

Another factor that determined the choice of the DVK D series was the high requirements for compressed air quality. The 3-stage separation in these compressors makes it possible to achieve an oil content in the compressed air of less than three ppm.

Currently, the compressors supplied to AvtoKrAZ are being successfully operated at the enterprise, making their own contribution to the overall victory. The presence of Dalgakiran’s service center in Poltava region ensures fast maintenance and uninterrupted operation of the equipment.
