Dalgakiran diesel generators for the needs of the Ministry of Emergencies of Ukraine

The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (German Society for International Cooperation) is a federal organization that is active in more than 130 countries. GIZ sees its main task as introducing effective solutions in the field of regulation of political, economic and social processes to the governments and public organizations of partner countries. The main customer of GIZ is the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, but the Company also fulfills orders of other German ministries, public and private enterprises. GIZ works for many major clients outside Germany as well: governments of different countries, the European Commission, the United Nations, and the World Bank. Today, GIZ employs about 17,000 people worldwide and has an annual turnover of more than 2 billion euros. Euros.

As early as 1993, the German Federal Government entrusted GIZ with the task of supporting democratic processes in Ukraine, and today GIZ staff in our country includes about 100 international experts. Ukraine’s cooperation with Germany focuses on such key areas as sustainable economic growth, energy efficiency and the fight against AIDS. In addition, GIZ, on behalf of the German Federal Government, provides us with support in optimizing public administration, public finance and municipal development.

When hostilities broke out in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts, the issue of helping civilians who fled the occupied territories became a separate area of cooperation between Ukraine and Germany. Since the end of 2014, on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development, GIZ has been assisting Ukraine in organizing temporary housing for internal refugees from the eastern regions. The society also provides refugees with basic necessities.

In February 2015, GIZ financed the purchase of diesel mini-power plants for the needs of the Interregional Rapid Response Center of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine as part of the emergency assistance program. Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine was involved in this program as a partner, supplying sixty DALGAKIRAN DJ 7000 DG-E diesel generators. These compact and lightweight diesel power plants are designed to operate in the harshest conditions, which is extremely important for rescuers who perform their duties in any weather. The DJ 7000 DG-E diesel generators can be used as both the main and backup power source. Their light weight and dimensions, sufficient power with low fuel consumption make them a versatile power plant capable of carrying out rescue and repair work at any time of the day, in any season and anywhere.

Having proved to be a conscientious and reliable supplier that fulfills orders strictly on time, Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine supplied the Ministry of Emergency Situations with an additional batch of DALGAKIRAN DJ 7000 DG-E diesel generators in September 2015.

We hope that our mini-power plants will reliably provide Ukrainian rescuers with electricity and help people in difficult or critical situations more than once.
