DALGAKIRAN diesel generator for a car complex with a roadside service station

“Roadside Service is a well-known and reliable partner for many car owners in Kharkiv. Conveniently located at a traffic interchange on the ring road, the complex offers a full range of service stations, a car wash, dry cleaning, a cafe and its own bakery. The scale of the complex and its location may require additional confidence in the uninterrupted supply of electricity. In order not to depend on the city’s power supply line and to provide its services in the event of a power outage, the owner of the car complex decided to install a backup power source – a DALGAKIRAN diesel generator.

Technical solution from DALGAKIRAN

After analyzing the needs of the vehicle complex, our specialists offered the customer to install a DALGAKIRAN DJ89BD diesel generator. The capacity of the unit is enough to cover all the needs of the Roadside Service company.

The DALGAKIRAN DJ89BD diesel power plant has a rated capacity of 64 kW (81 kVA), with the possibility of operating in a standby mode with a capacity of up to 71 kW (89 kVA). The station is based on the Baudouin engine, which has a high torque and minimum start-up time. A Crompton Greaves alternator, with its renowned durability, is responsible for power generation. The automatic backup power system detects a power outage and instantly switches on the diesel generator. A protective noise-absorbing hood not only minimizes the environmental impact of the engine noise, but also allows the equipment to be used outdoors.

The 260-liter fuel tank allows the power plant to operate without refueling for more than 18 hours at 75% load (consumption of 13.7 liters per hour). The number of hours of operation on the reserve tank can be increased by installing an additional fuel tank, if necessary.
