Ukrainian mineral waters in Odesa

The beginning of spring. Beverage producers are in the midst of preparing for the season. After the winter lull, everyone is actively working to set up and bring production lines to 100 percent capacity, and many are already filling warehouses with finished products. In 3-4 weeks, the season will begin in the south, a time when mineral water flies off the shelves at the speed of a mountain stream and the reliability of factory systems is tested by working in two shifts.

The plant was launched in 2 days

It is hardly necessary to describe the tension of the situation that arose in the Ukrainian Mineral Waters Corporation, the leader of the domestic market for the production of mineral waters and sweet drinks, when the Kuyalnyk plant in Odesa was shut down due to a breakdown of an old compressor! The management was perplexed – during the preparation for the season, the unpleasant prospect of getting the necessary compressor only in 5-6 weeks opened up – the standard lead time for a machine of this capacity, which is offered by all suppliers of such equipment.

Odesa residents applied to many companies, but due to the promised short timeframe, they accepted the offer from Dalgakiran. And they were right – the plant started operating at full capacity in 2 days!

“It took two days from the moment we called Dalgakiran’s Odesa branch until the plant was launched,” says Sergey Potapov, director of Kuyalnik. – “We had a compressor of the required capacity in stock. “At my personal request, it was delivered from Kyiv in two days, connected to the plant’s pneumatic system, and we started production as soon as possible, without any unnecessary formalities for signing a contract and receiving an advance payment.

On the beaten path

At the time of the new need for equipment for Ukrainian Mineral Waters, the compressor had been in operation at Kuyalnik for more than a year without a single complaint. So, when the time came to replace the outdated compressor equipment at another production facility of the corporation, the Svalyava mineral water plant located in the Carpathians, the decision was made in favor of DALGAKIRAN equipment without hesitation. A compressor of exactly the same capacity was successfully installed at Svalyava Mineral Waters in May 2009, where it is currently in operation.

Last year, the Ukrainian Mineral Waters Corporation modernized the Kuyalnyk plant with new high-capacity bottling lines. To put them into operation, additional compressor equipment was required. Having had four years of positive experience with Dalgakiran, the management knew at the stage of delivery of the new bottling lines who would be the supplier of compressors to supply the lines with compressed air.

Our company has supplied a new compressor to the Kuyalnik plant in Odesa, which, together with the equipment already in use, ensures the operation of lines that produce 50 million bottles annually, which means 18 thousand bottles per hour.
