400 kW power plant for the livestock complex “Agroservice LTD”

At the end of 2021, Agroservice LTD, one of the representatives of the dynamically developing agro-industrial complex of Ukraine, became another customer of Dalgakiran. The main activity is the breeding of dairy cattle, as well as pigs and piglets. Due to the increase in the capacity of the agricultural enterprise and given the current unstable situation with energy supply, the management of Agroservice LTD faced the choice of a diesel generator station with a nominal capacity of 400-420 kW.

The main requirement when choosing a diesel power plant was the ability to operate in both standby and continuous mode, as well as the availability of a service department in Kharkiv.

Among the proposed equipment, the final choice of the Customer was made on the Dalgakiran DJ580DD power plant. This model is made in a noise-absorbing all-weather casing, based on a Doosan diesel engine (South Korea) and a Crompton Graves alternator (India). The rated power in the constant mode of operation is 422 kW (528 kVA), in the standby mode – 464 kW (580 kVA). Fuel consumption is quite low for such a power plant (83.4 liters per hour at 75% load) and the 900-liter fuel tank allows the plant to operate for more than 10 hours without refueling. In the event of prolonged power outages and accidents in the power grid, the DALGAKIRAN DJ580DD generator is able to operate around the clock thanks to the high quality of the engine, which has been tested by many Ukrainian enterprises.

It is also worth noting that the Customer took advantage of the option offered by our company to install a grid parameter analyzer that records the load values of consumers with reference to time. This is necessary for a clear understanding of peak loads and inrush currents, which ultimately helps to correctly select the capacity of the diesel generator station.

Technical specialists of Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine successfully delivered, installed and connected the equipment, carried out commissioning and training of the Customer’s personnel in the operation of the power plant.

Thanks to the location of the Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine service department (Kharkiv) in close proximity to the enterprise (Volokhiv Yar village, Kharkiv region), the customer can be sure of the uninterrupted operation of the installed equipment and its timely maintenance.
