Supply of Gorman Rupp pumping stations to Bilanivsky GOK

At the beginning of 2019, Dalgakiran completed a project to supply an engineering system based on three Gorman Rupp T10A60-B/FM self-priming centrifugal pumps for Bilanivsky GOK (Horishni Plavni, Poltava region). The supplied equipment is designed for pumping out quarry water when the working fluid is lifted to a height of up to 30 meters.

Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine LLC is the exclusive and certified dealer of the American manufacturer Gorman Rupp in Ukraine and is engaged in sales, commissioning, warranty and periodic maintenance, as well as provides rental services for GR pumps.

Established in December 2009, Bilanivske Mining and Processing Plant’s main objective is to explore and commercially develop two ferruginous quartzite deposits, Bilanivske and Galeshchinske, aimed at further iron ore production with a planned capacity of up to 45 million tons per annum. In addition, Bilanivsky GOK’s operations include exploration and exploitation of other mineral deposits, processing/sales of iron ore and iron ore products, design and construction of public facilities and transportation infrastructures, and much more. In the context of the tasks set and strategic plans for the future, the acquisition of high-quality, reliable and durable equipment is one of the key tasks for Bilanivsky GOK.

The Gorman Rupp T10A60-B/FM self-priming centrifugal pumps driven by an ABB electric motor (90 kW) supplied to Bilanivsky GOK operate in automatic mode and are characterized by high capacity (630 m3/h), a large number of emergency sensors (temperature, vibration, liquid medium ingress into the area of mechanical seals and the crankcase of the bearing assembly, oil temperature sensor, etc.) and are equipped with a built-in integrated sludge removal system (raising from the bottom of the receiver). Another indisputable advantage of this type of pumping unit is that they are located at a height of up to 7.5 m from the surface of the pumped water, which allows the operator to constantly monitor the pumping station.
