Supply of a diesel pumping station for Chernihivvodokanal

To repair the sewerage networks of Chernihiv and emergency large-diameter sewage collectors, Chernihivvodokanal decided to purchase a powerful pump with a diesel engine.

Following the results of the open bidding, the bid from Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine for the supply of a Ferbo diesel pumping station (Italy) was successful. The proposed diesel pumping station fully meets the customer’s requirements and has optimal technical characteristics:

• engine power – 260 kW;
• capacity at the operating point – 800 m3/hour;
• maximum capacity -1100 m3/hour;
• pressure at the operating point – 6 bar;
• maximum pressure – 9.4 bar;
• suction height – 7.5 m;
• dry operation time – at least 10 minutes.

The first field tests of the supplied pumping station were carried out by Chernihivvodokanal on 06.08.2020 at the Chernihiv wastewater treatment plant. The unit successfully coped with pumping wastewater from a depth of 5 meters.

The Ferbo diesel pumping station will be used by Chernihivvodokanal in the city’s sewerage networks during technological and emergency repair and reconstruction works.
