Reliable backup power supply for the Shelest recreation area

Shelest country complex is located on the banks of the Dnipro River on the outskirts of Lebedivka village in Kyiv region. The complex offers a recreation area with comfortable rooms and cottages with private pools, a restaurant and active recreation areas. In addition, there are two large swimming pools on the territory of the complex – for adults and for children. The restaurant offers dishes from the cuisine of different countries, children’s, as well as special seasonal menus.

One of the important conditions for a comfortable stay in such a complex is the independence of the power system from emergency power outages. Therefore, Shelest representatives turned to Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine to select a backup power generator capable of operating around the clock for a long time.

The rated power of the three-phase generator is 214 kW, the reserve power is 235 kW (293 kVA). The volume of the diesel fuel tank is 385 liters, with a fuel consumption of no more than 42.2 liters per hour at a load of 75%. The stability of the volt-ampere characteristic is ensured by a stabilizer with an error of +/-0.25%.

The Baudouin Moteurs (France) diesel engine used in the DALGAKIRAN DJ293BD power plant operates stably at high and peak loads. The power plant is equipped with an electronic speed controller that ensures the supply of electricity at a fixed frequency, except for voltage surges. A water cooling system is provided to prevent overheating during operation.

Thanks to the protective casing, the powerful diesel generators not only do not produce much noise during operation, but are also protected from precipitation and unauthorized access to the equipment.

The power plant is equipped with an automatic transfer switch system, which allows the generator to start automatically – it takes a few seconds to supply electricity after a power outage.

The backup power plant is serviced by the Kyiv-based Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine service center.
