Production of gaseous nitrogen and oxygen at PJSC Centrenergo

Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine LLC is a dynamically developing company that successfully implements its projects in the field of production, installation and maintenance of industrial compressor equipment that meets all international quality standards and safety standards during operation. Being the official representative office in Ukraine of the world-famous Turkish company DALGAKIRAN, Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine has already firmly established itself as a reliable partner in the Ukrainian market, strictly adhering to the policy of strict fulfillment of its obligations to existing and new customers.

Thus, at the end of 2017, in accordance with the contractual obligations between the Contractor represented by Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine LLC and the Customer represented by Centrenergo PJSC, our company manufactured a nitrogen and oxygen gas production unit KS-100/AS-23, and then installed and commissioned it at Zmiivska TPP, which is part of Centrenergo PJSC.

The technical characteristics of the launched equipment are as follows:

• the unit’s gaseous oxygen capacity is up to 100 m3/hour;
• the plant’s capacity for gaseous nitrogen is up to 23 m3/hour;
• oxygen purity – 95%;
• nitrogen purity – 98%;
• nitrogen pressure at the outlet of the unit – 10 bar;
• oxygen pressure at the outlet of the unit is 10 bar and 150 bar (this allows the equipment to be used both in the production line and for filling cylinders).

It should be clarified that oxygen is used at the customer’s production site to fill cylinders intended for gas cutters (pressurized by boosters to 150 bar) and is also pumped into oxygen receivers (pressurized by a booster to 10 bar). Nitrogen is used to extinguish fires in case of their occurrence.

As a result of effective cooperation between the Customer and the Contractor, a redundancy scheme for compressor equipment with the possibility of simultaneous operation was implemented. Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine provided a complete set of supplied equipment, which includes high-performance screw compressors, compressed air purification and drying units, as well as highly efficient adsorption stations for nitrogen and oxygen production.

The delivery and installation of the KS-100/AS-23 nitrogen and oxygen gas production unit and related equipment were completed within the timeframe specified in the bilateral commitments. The equipment has successfully passed the factory and commissioning works and has been put into operation. In accordance with the terms of the Agreement, the Customer’s maintenance personnel completed a full training course on the operation of the plant, as well as its maintenance and repair.

At the moment, the equipment for the production of nitrogen and oxygen gas KS-100/AS-23, installed on the territory of PJSC Centrenergo, is being operated in an uninterrupted mode, and the specialists of Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine are carrying out scheduled maintenance of the unit within the framework of warranty obligations. The customer has no complaints about the equipment.
