Mobile containerized diesel generator stations for the State Emergency Service of Ukraine

At the end of 2022, Dalgakiran supplied five powerful diesel generator stations for the units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in cities: Kyiv, Rivne, Poltava, Khmelnytskyi and Mykolaiv.
Thanks to the unique design of containerized generators mounted on trailers, the State Emergency Service units are able to restore power to critical infrastructure damaged during terrorist missile or other attacks or in the event of emergency outages in the shortest possible time.
The backup capacity of each of the stations is 1340 kW (nominal 1200 kW), which is enough to provide autonomous power to water supply pumping stations, hospitals, administrative buildings, educational institutions, power generation facilities and other critical infrastructure. In addition, the mobile power plant can supply power to individual settlements by connecting it to a 1000 kW transformer substation.
Each of the DALGAKIRAN DJ1700CU mobile diesel power plants consists of the following components:
- Insulated noise-proof 40-foot all-weather container.
- Cummins KTA50-G8 diesel engine with an output of 1915 hp.
- An alternator with a rated capacity of 1220 kW and a voltage of 400 V.
- A 2000-liter fuel tank, which is enough to operate at rated power for at least 6 hours.
- Drum with a 25-meter power cable designed for full power.
- Power cabinets for connecting power cables to full capacity and for connecting current distributors with sockets for other consumers.
- Current distributors for external connection of consumers.
- Exhaust silencer in the middle of the container.
- Lighting mast with remote control.
- A container ship semi-trailer.
Given the challenging energy situation in Ukraine, the time required to manufacture and deliver five powerful diesel power plants to the State Emergency Service was less than two months. As of today, the delivered equipment is successfully operating to provide power to critical infrastructure.
