Fertilizer dosing on Kernel irrigation systems

Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine has delivered another ITC Dostec 40 series metering pump for sprinklers of one of the largest agricultural enterprises – Kernel.

The cooperation between Kernel and Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine began in 2019. As part of the project to equip sprinklers with high-precision metering pumps, 5 ITC (Spain) pumps have already been delivered. The use of high-quality metering pumping equipment to supply fertilizers to the grain irrigation system is critically important, as it affects the yield of crops grown.

ITC dosing pumps of the Dostec 40 series are used wherever precise dosed volumes of various liquids are required. One of the main advantages of this series of pumps is that the dosing volume does not have to be clearly defined in advance: the pump can be programmed to automatically react to changes in liquid parameters, such as acidity, and add the right amount of agent required to maintain a certain state of the liquid. The capacity of the supplied Dostec 40 dosing pumps is 300 l/h, and the maximum operating pressure is up to 7 bar. The capacity of the equipment can be adjusted by changing the speed or stroke length of the pump piston.

ITC’s Dostec 40 series dosing pumps are designed to provide the highest reliability while maintaining dosing accuracy within an error of no more than 1%. This is made possible by infinitely variable stroke and piston speed control, which allows for the pumping of large quantities of liquid under high pressure.

The project implementation date is February 2020, but we can already say with certainty that the ITC Dostec 40 series dosing pumps supplied by our company have successfully coped with the tasks set by the client.
