“Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine continues to work closely with Odesa developers. In September of this year, the company completed a project to supply and install a diesel generator in the Biarritz clubhouse, which is conveniently located on Frantsuzsky Boulevard.

“Biarritz is a premium class housing named after an old French resort and offers maximum comfort and safety on the Black Sea coast. Underground parking, high-class elevators, security system, water purification and smart home require uninterrupted power supply. Therefore, the developer’s representatives asked Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine to provide them with an autonomous backup power plant.

Baudouin diesel engines

An elite building on Frantsuzsky Boulevard needs the right equipment. Baudouin Moteurs is a French engineering company that has been operating for over 100 years, producing diesel engines for ships and industrial generators.

Baudouin diesel engines are characterized by their stable operation under high loads. They are certified according to ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO/TS 16949 and OHSAS18001. With an engine capacity of 9.72 liters, the power unit itself weighs relatively little (total weight of the generator is 2904 kg).

Primary and backup power

The three-phase diesel power plant produces 267 kVA (214 kW) at a stable average load. This is enough to support all the main systems of the Biarritz clubhouse, meaning that its residents will not even notice that their street has temporarily lost power.

The generator’s reserve capacity is 293 kVA (235 kW). At peak load, the power plant will safely provide residents with the usual comfort. The Baudouin Moteurs engine guarantees the supply of electricity with a stable frequency, protecting the equipment from power surges.

Technical characteristics

The DALGAKIRAN DJ293BD generator is equipped with an electronic engine speed controller and a water cooling system. The fuel tank capacity is 385 liters, and fuel consumption at 75% load is 42.2 liters. The brushless alternator provides voltage from 230 to 400 V.

These technical characteristics ensure a stable power supply to the multi-storey building. The maintenance of the backup power plant will pay off at the first power outage during summer thunderstorms and autumn storms.

By implementing this project, Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine also assumed the warranty obligations of the manufacturer. Maintenance of the power plant will be performed by the service department of the Odesa branch, which will ensure stable and long-term operation of the installed equipment.
