DALGAKIRAN compressor equipment for the Dnipro Switch Plant

In July 2019, the project to supply a DVK 220D compressor and a DK 220 dryer to Dnipro Switch Plant JSC was successfully completed.

In May 2019, Dnipropetrovs’kyi Railways announced a tender for the purchase of a 28^m3/min compressor together with a 100^m3/min compressed air dryer. The winner of the tender was determined through competitive bidding and preference was given to Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine as the official representative office of the manufacturer and a reliable supplier of compressor equipment.

The DALGAKIRAN DVK 220D direct-drive screw compressor was purchased to replace a screw compressor from another European manufacturer that needed to be overhauled. Instead of investing in expensive repairs of the old compressor, the company’s management decided to invest in the purchase of new modern compressor equipment.

The energy-efficient DALGAKIRAN DVK 220D screw compressor fully meets the requirements of the customer’s technical specifications in terms of performance and pressure. Thanks to a reliable air treatment and purification system, the machine can be used in any type of production and in the most difficult conditions. The direct drive system ensures compressed air production with less power consumption and reduces wear and tear on moving parts. The air suction system regulator minimizes the pressure drop in case of one-way air flow. The compressor is equipped with a two-stage filtration system consisting of a replaceable microfiber filter and a cassette type air filter, which ensures high quality compressed air in dusty working environments.

The DVK 220D casing is protected by fire-resistant powder paint and has a sound-absorbing casing. The compressor is mounted on vibration supports that minimize vibration from the unit and prevent vibration from being transmitted to the floor or foundation. These and many other advantages of DALGAKIRAN DVK D series direct-drive screw compressors were decisive in the selection of compressor equipment for the Dnipro Switch Plant.

Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine LLC provides warranty and post-warranty maintenance of the supplied equipment. The official warranty for the screw compressor units is 10 years, along with a 5-year warranty for the main components of the equipment. The company’s own service centers are located in 12 major cities of Ukraine in close proximity to customers.
