Backup power supply for KP “Kharkivvodokanal”

At the end of February 2023, an agreement was signed between Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine LLC and Kharkivvodokanal for the supply of a set of equipment for the implementation of water supply.
The entire set of equipment was delivered in June 2023. During this time, a technical solution was developed, agreed with the customer, and the equipment was ordered and delivered in full. A set of diagrams, drawings and supporting technical documentation was handed over along with the equipment.
Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine LLC supplied equipment to three facilities under a supply agreement dated 23.02.2023. The main equipment powered by the generator complex is medium voltage pumps:

• 1600 kW with a voltage of 6 kV,
• 1000 kW 6 kV,
• 800 kV 6 kV.

The main list of equipment that was delivered in the shortest possible time:

• containerized diesel generators C1100 D5B (823 kW rated power) – five units based on CUMMINS KTA38-G14 engines;
• containerized diesel generators C1675 D5A (1200 kW rated power) based on CUMMINS KTA50-GS8 engines;
• a complex 6 kV transformer substation with circuit breakers and cells for each of the three facilities.
• 6 kV frequency converters with two lifts to reduce inrush currents.

Thanks to the timely and comprehensive supply of generators, Kharkivvodokanal no longer depends on scheduled and emergency power outages, and the water supply to Kharkiv is backed up by reliable equipment.
DALGAKIRAN diesel power plants fully meet all the stated technical requirements for providing backup power supply. During operation, the equipment has proven to be reliable and easy to maintain.
