Autonomous power supply at AGRO Vinnitsya 2023

From September 20 to 21, the international agricultural exhibition AGROVINNITSA Field Day was held. It was attended by 140 equipment manufacturers and representatives of the agricultural sector, and the number of visitors exceeded 4000. The business program of the exhibition was attended by representatives of relevant ministries, local authorities, business associations, enterprises and international experts. The total exhibition area, including the area for demonstration of agricultural machinery, amounted to 20,000 square meters. “AGRO VINNITSA was the first event of this scale since the beginning of the full-scale war.

Since the exhibition was held in an open field, the most difficult task for the organization was to provide the infrastructure with electricity. The specialists of Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine coped with this task, acting as the energy partner of the exhibition.

Dalgakiran’s equipment rental department was tasked with providing uninterrupted power supply to the entrance area, the administration stand, the food court, and the field conference hall. In addition, on September 19 and 22, the generator was used to power the equipment during the installation and dismantling of exhibitors’ stands.

The heart that powered the exhibition was a 52.8 kW Cummins C66D5 diesel generator. The choice of this particular station was due to its designation for continuous power supply to consumers (Continuous Power). Taking into account the exhibition area and the distance between the zones that needed power, 800 meters of cable and switchboards for each consumer were used for switching.
