Chiller in a snowdrift

In search of inexpensive and reliable industrial refrigeration equipment, Molis management turned to Dalgakiran.

Fully automatic Dalgakiran chillers of the Special EBHV-70.1 series, which our company supplied to the cheesemakers, are the best solution for maintaining the temperature and removing heat.

The only difficulty with the installation of the chiller was the lack of space in the shop. That’s why Dalgakiran’s specialists suggested installing the chiller in the only available space – an abandoned area behind the shop.

The operating conditions and the weatherproof design of the refrigeration unit allowed for this solution. Additionally, the chiller was equipped with equipment for operating the unit in frosty conditions. This is the so-called “Cold Climate” option.

After the equipment was put into operation, the refrigeration engineers left, strongly recommending that Molis technologists install a fence and make a visor over the chiller. This is required by the instructions for using chillers outdoors.

Quiet operation

The automatic system controls the chiller without operator intervention. The only reason the factory remembered the unit was when it was time for scheduled maintenance of the refrigeration machine. When the Dalgakiran service engineer arrived, it took him a while to be shown where the chiller was actually located. The unit was quietly humming in a snowdrift. Such an attitude of consumers did not harm the chiller’s performance.

“Dalgakiran industrial chillers are like bulldozers. They were switched on and they are working, even in conditions when, according to the operating instructions, they should have been switched off,” commented Ruslan Matsipura, Head of Refrigeration Equipment Department. – “Rarely any supplier can boast of such unpretentiousness of its equipment. By the way, the cheesemakers have already installed a canopy over the chiller and a fence around the unit.
