Slobozhansky Agrocombine – we have light in any weather
In 1971, the USSR government decided to build a modern pig farm in the Kharkiv region based on Italian technology for growing and producing pork. In Soviet times, the complex, with a capacity of more than 100,000 heads per year, was one of the largest in the country. Today, this enterprise is well known as PJSC Slobozhansky Agrocombine. Until 2011, Slobozhansky produced up to 12,000 tons of pork annually. Wanting to increase capacity, in 2012, the investors decided to completely reconstruct the complex, installing modern European equipment and purchasing agricultural machinery from leading global manufacturers. According to the investors’ plans, in 2015 the capacity of the complex will reach 350,000 heads per year.

With such high production volumes, the reliability of life support systems, including power supply, is of paramount importance. Slobozhansky Agrocombine purchased a DOOSAN-DAEWOO DJ 775 DD diesel power plant from Dalgakiran as an autonomous source of electricity. This is the most powerful model of DJ-DD diesel generators. It provides 705 kVA as the main source of power supply and up to 775 kVA as a backup.
Tracing their lineage back to the power units of marine vessels, having absorbed the experience and knowledge of MAN (Germany) and ISUZU (Japan) engineers, DOOSAN DAEWOO diesel engines are not inferior in their characteristics to the best world models, while being 20-25% cheaper. According to the technical specialists of PJSC “Agrocombinat Slobozhansky”, the presence of the DJ 775 DD diesel power plant as part of the company’s energy supply system completely saves the company from the headaches associated with the problems of unstable electricity supply, which is typical for the winter period, and cooperation with Dalgakiran service engineers guarantees no problems with the operation and maintenance of the power plant.
