Re-equipment of household wastewater treatment facilities at Khmelnytsky NPP

At the end of 2018, Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine supplied and commissioned an energy-efficient Robuschi rotary blower to Khmelnytsky NPP as part of a project to upgrade the sewage treatment system for the nuclear power plant’s utility services.

According to the modernization project, one of the outdated energy-consuming blowers was replaced with a modern Robuschi ES 126/5P blower (made in Italy) with a capacity of 6183^m3/h at a pressure of 0.4 bar(n). This equipment is equipped with an energy-efficient 110 kW ABB motor (energy efficiency class IE3), which favorably distinguishes it from analogues with higher energy consumption and similar performance, power and pressure.

The Robuschi ES 126/5P blower is made in a noise-proof casing and equipped with a control cabinet, which allows you to effectively regulate the required amount of air supplied to the aeration system. The introduction of the new equipment allowed KhNPP to significantly reduce electricity costs at its own utility.
