Production of high-purity nitrogen gas at Yuria Farm

Yuria Pharm is Ukraine’s largest manufacturer of pharmaceutical products: hospital and antibacterial solutions, infusion products, medical instruments, as well as drugs for the treatment of malaria, tuberculosis, osteoarthritis, bronchial asthma, cystic fibrosis and AIDS. As part of the expansion and modernization of production, Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine won a tender for the design and supply of a nitrogen station for the production of nitrogen gas with a purity of 99.9995%. The complete DALGAKIRAN AC-10/0.7 U3 nitrogen station consists of a Tidy 40B screw compressor, a refrigerated compressed air dryer, an Oxymat nitrogen generator and a nitrogen receiver.

The station is equipped with a local control system that allows monitoring and managing nitrogen consumption and informs about the purity of the product. If the controlled parameters go beyond the declared limits, the operator is notified. After that, the discharge line for non-specified gas is switched on. This prevents the ingress of nitrogen of reduced purity into the plant’s process line. In addition, an automatic system is installed to switch to the ramp (nitrogen cylinders) if the pressure in the system is below 4 bar.

Technical characteristics of the station:

• Nitrogen consumption is 10 m3/hour;
• The purity of nitrogen produced is 99.9995%;
• The pressure is 7 bar.
