Autonomous power supply during the construction of a wind farm with a total capacity of 140 MW

In the spring of 2018, Khersonspetsbud, commissioned by Windcraft Ukraine LLC, which develops Ukrainian wind power, began construction of another wind farm in Kherson region. A total of 42 wind turbines with a total capacity of 140 MW are planned to be installed. The total investment is estimated at €220 million, and annual electricity production is projected at around 470 GWh.

To carry out construction work in the field, Khersonspetsstroy needed a reliable diesel generator capable of providing construction equipment with high-quality electricity without interruption, even around the clock. For these purposes, Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine suggested using a Cummins Power C300 D5 diesel power plant with a capacity of 300 kVA (240 kW), which it leased for more than 5 months.
