Arsenal breathes in the air
The first mention of the legendary capital’s factory dates back to the time of Catherine II, when in 1764 the Regulations on the Kyiv Arsenal Team were issued. This year is considered to be the date of the actual establishment of the Kyiv Arsenal. In the XVIII-XIX centuries, the plant repaired and manufactured various types of weapons, including artillery. In 1917, the oldest Kyiv plant began manufacturing civilian products; in 1946, the company was re-profiled to produce optical, opto-mechanical and optoelectronic devices, mainly for the needs of the military industry. Since then, supplying equipment to Arsenal has been a more than responsible undertaking for the supplier of working machines. After all, the legendary state-owned plant takes great care and attention to changing equipment.
Modern life requires minimizing costs. The standard application of energy-saving technology in production using compressed air is decentralization. This is exactly the path that Arsenal has taken. According to Vitaliy Panchenko, Head of Compressor Equipment at Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine, Kyiv Arsenal adopted a production modernization plan back in 2011 and is currently implementing it. “Each department of Arsenal fulfills the tasks of its own area of work,” said Vitaliy. – “We have supplied a compressor to the enterprise that solves the problem of supplying the unit with compressed air. If everything goes according to the company’s modernization plans, our company will launch several more compressors at Arsenal.”
