WAVE Series High-Pressure Piston Compressors (12-40 bar, 1077-3526 l/min)

Dalgakiran’s WAVE series high-pressure reciprocating air compressors are designed to start diesel engines on diesel locomotives and marine vessels. They are also used in other areas where pressures of up to 40 bar are required.

The special design of the WAVE series compressors achieves good compression ratios, which results in low outlet air temperatures and minimal energy consumption for cooling. Energy efficiency is also achieved through the directly connected motor shaft and crankshaft, which ensures stability and high performance even at ambient temperatures of up to 55 °C and uninterrupted operation under full load.

The WAVE series compressors use IE3 IP55 motors with an input voltage of 380 V and a frequency of 50 Hz, and create a pressure of up to 40 bar at the outlet. Pistons cast from special aluminum alloys and spherically cast connecting rods exert less pressure on the crankshaft, reducing wear on moving parts. Compression and oil retaining rings increase air flow and prevent oil leakage, while cast iron rollers and cylinders, corrosion-resistant and heat-resistant stainless steel valves, cooling finned cylinders and manifolds ensure high efficiency of the unit.

Cooling system

The radiator’s performance is enhanced by pre-cooling the air using finned concentric valves and a condensate drainage system after each stage. The Dalgakiran WAVE series compressors are equipped with a four-section combined heat exchanger and a forced oil lubrication system, which allows them to operate continuously 24 hours a day.

• 4-stage radiator (3 stages for air cooling, 1 stage for oil cooling);
• Cylinder and cylinder heads with cooling fins;
• A cooling fan connected directly to the main motor;
• An integrated oil pump driven by the main engine lubricates the pistons and pins.

Automation

The integrated electrical cabinet and electronic controller allow you to monitor and control the main work processes, which facilitates the operation of the unit.

• Monitoring of mains voltage and frequency, protection within certain limits;
• Multiple compressor control for up to 8 compressors without the need for external master compressors;
• ModBus internal communication;
• The alarm log records the last 9 events.
