High-Pressure Gas Drying Unit

The high-pressure gas drying unit of adsorption type with regeneration of moisture-saturated adsorbent is designed for deep (up to the residual moisture content of 0.009 g/m3) drying of natural gas compressed to high (~250 kgf/cm2) pressure. The adsorbent regeneration is carried out by the dried and heated injection gas at the inlet pressure. The gas withdrawal for regeneration is equal to 5% of the plant capacity. The gas dehydration unit ensures the operation of the plant without the formation of hydrate formations at ambient temperatures down to minus 30°C.

The dehumidification unit is installed after the last compressor stage. The unit is equipped with a manually operated bypass gas supply line past the adsorber. The dehumidification half-cycle time is no more than 8 hours.
Dehumidification control is automatic.
In the dehumidification unit, safety valves are installed on the compressed gas and regeneration gas lines.

By agreement with the customer, the unit can be equipped with a moisture meter with a display on the control panel in the operator’s room.
