Water-cooled shell-and-tube condensers are used to condense refrigerant in refrigeration systems using recycled water.
DALGAKIRAN’s ESK series of shell-and-tube condensers includes 32 unit types with capacities ranging from 10.4 kW to 700 kW. Suitable refrigerants are all hydrochlorofluorocarbon (HCFC) and all hydrofluorocarbon (HFC).
High performance ESK capacitors are not presented in the catalog, please contact our specialists for information.
DALGAKIRAN ESK capacitors are manufactured using high quality materials that meet all the requirements of the European Pressure Equipment Directives.
Auxiliary connections, water drain and air outlet connections are available on all condensers. Tested at 10 bar water pressure and 30 bar refrigerant pressure.

To make the right choice of capacitor, you need to consider the degree of contamination of the liquid:
- Ordinary city water f.f = 0.000043 m2 K / W
- River water f.f = 0.000086 m2 K / W
- Seawater f.f = 0.000086 m2 K / W
If it is necessary to use river or sea water, consult a DALGAKIRAN specialist. The speed of the water passing through the condenser should be between 1.5 m/s and 2.2 m/s.
To operate the capacitor correctly, observe the following rules:
- When filling the condenser with water, the air must be completely released from the condenser.
- If long-term storage is required, the condenser water must be drained.
- The capacitor must not be subjected to excessive vibration.
- Do not allow water to enter the gas circuit.
- Do not exceed the recommended flow rate.
