DVK D Series Direct Drive Compressors (3.6-53 m³/min)

Dalgakiran DVK-D series direct-drive compressors are based on a screw block and a new generation motor for long continuous operation with minimal stoppages. When using a direct drive from a modern induction motor, there is no mechanical energy loss inherent in the classic belt drive. Thus, more compressed air is produced with less energy. Vibration and noise are also significantly reduced.

The compressors have a compact design that requires a minimum of space. Removable casing doors provide easy maintenance and access to any part of the unit. The soundproof steel casing is coated with a special anti-corrosion material.

Screw block

A screw unit that provides high airflow to suit the needs of each model. The rotor profile ensures minimal losses and lower torque requirements. The master rotor has four cams and the slave rotor has five cams. This creates the shortest possible mating line and reduces internal leakage, which creates a higher volume of processed air. The new rotor profile with reduced draft reduces the need for torque, which means less energy consumption.

Suction cooling system

The axial fan creates a turbo effect inside the unit, which provides cooling and increases the performance of the screw unit. Aluminum plate combination cooler, which is sized to ensure stable operation even at high ambient temperatures. Water cooling can be integrated as an option.

The replacement element for the paper filter is a low-resistance fiberglass panel air pre-filter with a dry type, which eliminates the problem of dusting the medium.

Separation of air and oil

The design of the separator depends on the compressor capacity and model:

• Screw-on separator (up to 37 kW) – easy to replace, assemble and disassemble
• The submerged separator (45 kW and above) is a highly efficient separator with a long service life. The separator plates are connected for more efficient separation at low volumes. Residual oil mist content in the outlet air ≤ 3 ppm.

Thermostatic valve

At low ambient temperatures, a 4-way thermostatic valve ensures uninterrupted compressor operation.

Vibration isolators

Special rubber vibration isolators prevent the compressor from vibrating during operation.

Intelligent control

The DVK-D series compressors do not require an external master controller. The electronic LCD panel of the controller has an ergonomic interface and will notify the user of the equipment status. The controller has the ability to work together, synchronized with Master/Slave for two compressors. The controller also has:

• ModBus internal communication;
• Alarm log records the last 20 alarms
• Weekly scheduler for starting/stopping the compressor at 3 different time intervals (which can be set separately for each day of the week)*;
• Maintenance warnings and history*;
