The C1100D5B industrial generator sets are designed to provide power supply in continuous and emergency modes to factory workshops, commercial and industrial premises, and construction sites. This modification is equipped with 38-liter KTA38 diesel engines, which allows it to develop a power of up to 906 kW in standby mode (1132 kVA).
Application and types of connection
The specification provides for 4 modes of operation of Cummins 1100b diesel generators:
backup power supply to engineering systems and consumers (ESP);
supplying electricity to major consumers for a limited period of time (LTP);
unlimited primary power supply with variable load (PRP);
constant basic current supply (COP) to the main consumers for a long time.
According to ISO8528 classification, this equipment is classified as G3 and can be used to service conventional networks (lighting, ventilation, pumps, elevators), as well as thyristor equipment and telecommunications. According to this standard, strict requirements are imposed on the frequency and voltage output.

The drive is a stationary diesel engine KTA38 for industrial use, 38 liters, 4 strokes, 12 cylinders, turbocharged with cooling, full operating fuel consumption – 228 l/h, air – 72.8 m3/min, exhaust – 198.5 m3/min.
Alternator: stator with 2/3 pitch windings, brushless, 4-pole, direct connection to the drive shaft (single-bearing rotor with flexible disk coupling), insulation class H.
PowerCommand 3.3 MLD command panel (320×240 pixel LCD display, touch buttons with LED backlight).
Radiator cooling (2 circuits with pumps, 158 liters of ethylene glycol coolant, up to 33800 BTU/minute (about 115 kW).
Protective cover.
Permanent magnetic generator (optional) for improved starting conditions and short circuit protection.
