Modular Compressor Stations (MCS)

The block compressor station (BCS) is designed to produce prepared compressed air in an automatic mode, without the constant presence of service personnel.

A BCS is a compressor, along with any other equipment, mounted in a container(s) for placement on an open site and operation at ambient temperatures from -30 to +40°C (standard solutions, unless other required parameters are specified). The container of the block compressor station can be equipped with various systems to ensure the life of the equipment: lighting, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, grounding, fire extinguishing, etc.

Standard composition of the compressor station

• Block container – to protect compressor equipment from external environmental factors.
• The compressor unit is used to compress atmospheric air.
• Air treatment system – for drying and purifying compressed air.
• Automatic control system – for protection, monitoring and remote control.
• Shut-off and regulating equipment, piping – ensuring the nominal functioning of the technological scheme for producing treated air (check valves, ball valves, piping).

The block container is a welded structure consisting of:

• all-welded frame;
• sandwich panels with a thickness of 100 mm;
• protective external blinds;
• two- and single-leaf doors with locking mechanisms;
• the upper and lower parts of the frame, which have lintels and longitudinal beams to ensure rigidity.

The floor of the block container is covered with lentil sheets about 4 mm thick. Between the lentils and the sheet metal of the bottom is 100 mm thick non-combustible pressed basalt wool, which provides thermal insulation of the BCS floor.

The sealed and robust design of the container base allows the station to be installed on the ground without special preparation. It is enough to have a flat, hard surface with a slope of no more than 5°.

The walls, doors, and ceiling of the block container are equipped with three-layer sandwich panels, which are 100 mm thick.

The combination of sandwich panels’ core material (structural basalt wool or other heat-insulating material), sheet steel and adhesive composition ensures their strength and durability when exposed to external environmental factors (temperature drop, precipitation). The thermal insulation material is fireproof, and the sandwich panels meet the latest fire safety requirements.

For slinging, the block container is equipped with load-gripping devices.

The locking mechanisms of the double-leaf doors, made according to the type of locking mechanisms of sea containers, ensure their reliable rigid fixation during transportation and operation at the place of BCS installation. All doors are sealed with rubber seals around the perimeter. The seal ensures tightness when the doors are closed.

The compressor station can be used in a wide variety of areas of activity where it is necessary to supply high-quality treated compressed air, without geographical reference.
