Unique compressor operators have appeared in Ukraine
In winter, service engineers from several countries gathered at the Cameron training center. A Ukrainian was also among the representatives of the international company. Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine provided an opportunity for Andriy Berezin, chief engineer of the service department, to undergo a 3-week training. “Theoretical training in the morning and practical training in the afternoon. We had this schedule throughout the training,” said Andriy. – “We were not only explained the principle of operation and shown the structure of centrifugal compressor units. We learned how to set up, run and test Cameron equipment on a working model. The trainees, under the guidance of the plant’s representatives, set the equipment to different modes, adjusted its software control, and studied the behavior of the equipment in critical and emergency situations. The training ended with an exam.” In order to obtain a certificate that allows a service engineer to assemble and run a turbocharger, training at the factory is not enough – it is a preparatory stage. To get the certificate, you need to carry out a real start-up of the unit at an operating enterprise under the guidance of service engineers. For Andriy Berezin, the Yarnaft plant in Yaroslavl became the first real facility. After the successful launch, the Russian representatives of the supplier sent a report to the head office of Cameron. They reviewed it and issued a certificate to the Ukrainian specialist.

Cameron centrifugal compressors are designed for compressed air production at heavy-duty enterprises and are used in non-stop process cycles. These include glass production, petrochemical and metallurgical enterprises.
