Every year, Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine takes part in specialized industrial exhibitions. As at previous forums, on the first day the participants communicate with each other, and visitors from all regions of Ukraine come to the Expocenter starting the next day. According to Maksym Kushnirenko, Manager of the Generator Department, about half of the visitors are from design bureaus and institutes, and the other half are end customers who want to buy production equipment for their own needs. Such visitors are interested in equipment with a capacity of about 200 kW. Another category of visitors is manufacturers from Poland and China looking for distributors for their products.

Most of the exhibitors are well-known companies in Ukraine that have been supplying industrial equipment for many years. But, according to Sergey Yarovoy, a specialist in the generator equipment department, there is no sense of deja vu. For the recognized suppliers of electrical products, the exhibitions TechnoDrive 2012 and ELCOM are more of an image event, a demonstration of strength and capabilities. It is an opportunity to confirm their development and active presence in the market. “Despite the fact that” the arena is still the same,” the expert jokes, “the trend of consumer interest in the details of the internal design of generators has become obvious.

According to Sergiy Yarovoy, the division of consumers into those who build production from scratch and those who modernize an existing enterprise or increase capacity is equal – 50% to 50%. “In the second category, I would note a tendency to increase the reliability of production, which has become especially important for industries with complex technological processes that cannot be interrupted,” the expert said. – “Now the situation in the country is stable and manufacturers are allocating money to purchase a backup diesel generator. According to Maksym Kushnirenko’s observations, the agricultural business has started to develop significantly. “We felt a certain surge in this area,” the manager noted. “Generators began to be purchased by agricultural holdings whose production is located in the western and central regions of Ukraine. Our products are in demand at warehouses for storage and processing of agricultural products, poultry farms, pig farms and cattle breeding farms.” An important factor for end users when choosing a supplier of electrical equipment is the availability of service support. “Without the possibility of servicing the equipment, customers do not consider purchasing the equipment at all,” emphasized Maxim Kushnirenko. – “This factor was emphasized by several of our customers who supply our diesel generators to end users in their regions.
