Packaging machines for polymer pipes and profiles

Packing machines are an automatic plastic pipe packaging line whose functions include counting, feeding, storing, setting, packing, tying and moving products. They can be connected to an extruder for integrated automatic operation or operate independently.

Description of the technological process

The technological process of automatic packaging of polymer pipes includes several stages:

  1. Collecting pipes or profiles for the packaging machine. The pipes are delivered to the conveyor manually or the packaging line is connected to the extruder.
  2. Counting and stacking pipes or profiles. The system uses a predefined program to calculate how many pieces of pipe are needed in packages for different sizes, and then assembles the pipes, stacking them in several layers and sending them to the assembly device.
  3. Tying and strapping the pipe bundle. A suspended automatic packaging device ties each pipe bundle with stretch film and moves it to the storage station.

The entire process is controlled automatically by an industrial PLC, but also has a manual adjustment function to change the equipment’s operating parameters depending on production needs.

Packaging machines are used for bundling and wrapping plastic pipes and profiles made of polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene and other materials. High-quality packaging helps protect pipes from damage during handling, transportation and storage.
