Energy-efficient cooling with environmental care

Caring for the environment, social responsibility and the introduction of the latest developments for the production of energy-efficient equipment are among the main principles of DALGAKIRAN. Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine adheres to the same principles when choosing partners – manufacturers of equipment and components.

In cooperation with the Italian manufacturer of industrial refrigeration equipment, EMICON, Dalgakiran introduces a new product to the Ukrainian market – environmentally friendly chillers using the natural refrigerant R290, which is propane gas. When using R290 refrigerant:

• ozone depletion potential ODP = 0;
• global warming potential GWP = 3 (for R134a GWP = 1300, for R410a GWP = 1890).

From 2017 to 2020, more than 400 chillers with R290 refrigerant were sold in Europe. In 2020, Ukraine also joined the transition to more environmentally friendly equipment – Dalgakiran and its partner successfully implemented and launched an outdoor chiller with air-cooled condenser EMICON RAS 3502 Kp with a cooling capacity of 302.5 kW. This chiller was installed at a food processing plant in the Kharkiv region.

The entire line of propane chillers is equipped with energy-efficient semi-hermetic alternative compressors in explosion-proof design, confirmed by the certificate of the European norm ATEX 2014/34/UE. In the cooling system, it is equipped with an ATEX gas leakage sensor, supplemented by an electronic detector. All this gives 100% confidence in the reliability of the equipment.

The chillers in this line comply with the new European efficiency standards ERP 2021, which set a minimum seasonal SEER of 5.20 for water-cooled units and a minimum SEER of 4.10 for all air-cooled units.
