Charity art project “Ark”

On October 13, the Ark charity art project created by Zirka Charitable Foundation was launched to address three pressing challenges of our time: supporting Ukrainian artists in times of war, supporting people who have lost their homes, and creating new communities.

The project will feature an art exhibition consisting of nine solo exhibitions by contemporary Ukrainian artists – Vira Kuleba-Barynova, Oleksiy Potapenko, Inna Pantelemonova, Oleksandr Melnyk, Mykola Zhulinsky, Marian Luniv, Ihor Romanko, Nadiya Martynenko and Andriy Kotlyarchuk. Each of the nine artists presents his or her own view of traditions, the connection between generations, and a vision of the future of Ukrainian culture.

The art project was implemented with the support of Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine, because in art we demonstrate to the world the cultural foundation on which our will to freedom is based.

It is worth noting that 30% of the cost of the artworks sold as part of the Ark project will be donated to the Zirka Charitable Foundation. In addition to cultural activities, the Zirka Charitable Foundation is also involved in the construction of housing for Ukrainians who lost their homes as a result of the war. The foundation’s project called “Dodomu”, created in cooperation with the construction company IWHOME, aims to quickly build a modern mini-town at minimal cost. The city of Belz in the Lviv region has already been chosen to build the first such complex.

Until November 6, the Ark exhibition will be on display at the Khlibnya Gallery on the territory of the St. Sophia of Kyiv National Reserve (24 Volodymyrska Street), after which it is planned to be held in other cities of Ukraine, with further plans for exhibitions abroad.
