Charitable assistance to the volunteer initiative “Help and Travel”

It has become a good tradition for Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine to participate in various charity events and sponsor various cultural and sporting events. This time, we were approached with a non-standard request – to help a volunteer organization called “Help and Travel” with garbage bags, cleaning gloves and disposable tableware.

The essence of the organization’s activities is accurately reflected in its name: they travel to Ukrainian villages and help clean them up – they remove garbage, paint, whitewash, and dig trenches. Unfortunately, in many Ukrainian villages, the majority of people are elderly. Therefore, such help is very important. The second advantage is that our grandparents can clearly see that there are many hardworking and patriotic young people in the country.

The next tour is scheduled for August 12-18. The volunteer team will visit four villages in the Cherkasy region – Podilske, Martynivka, Liplyavove, and Morintsy.

In previous years, Help and Travel received a grant from the US Embassy in Ukraine. Unfortunately, this year the Americans did not have any money for them. So the young people decided to turn to Ukrainian companies for help. In particular, to manufacturers of garbage bags and disposable tableware. It so happened that this message about help got to our company. We liked this charitable initiative and decided to just help rather than inform the young people about the mistake.

Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine purchased the requested amount of disposable tableware, garbage bags, cleaning gloves and sent them to Help and Travel volunteers.
