Technical Features and Equipment Configuration

To optimize the technological process, three modules of two different configurations were designed and manufactured. Each electrical module — is a fully-fledged equipment room designed for high-load operation, housing 1 high-precision control cabinet.

Type 1 Electrical Module (1 unit manufactured)

This type of module is designed for facilities with high requirements for startup flexibility

and power redundancy.

  1. High-voltage circuit: A Hiconics HC1000-060/00700 high-voltage frequency converter (VFC) is installed (specifications: 6 kV, 560 kW).
  2. VFC functionality: Automatic control of two high-capacity pumps, full synchronization with the grid, and a smooth, stepped start-up that mitigates hydraulic shocks in the system.
  3. Low-voltage circuit: Two sets of low-voltage assemblies based on T-9400 series frequency converters (315 kW) with a complete set of switching equipment.
  4. Operating modes: Integrated systems for local (directly from the module panel) and remote control room management.

Type 2 Electrical Module (2 units manufactured)

Designed to control ultra-high-power main equipment and a complex network of auxiliary units.

  • High-voltage circuit: Hiconics HC1000-060/01250 high-voltage power frequency converter (specifications: 6 kV, 1000 kW).
  • VFD functionality: intelligent control of 2 pumps, synchronization of operating parameters, and soft start to stabilize pressure in the main line.
  • Low-Voltage Circuit: Four sets of low-voltage assemblies based on the T-9400 frequency converter (132 kW), equipped with reliable protective switching equipment.
  • Control: Redundant control system (local + remote) for maximum system fault tolerance.

Engineering Infrastructure: Safety, Climate Control, and Process Control Systems

Creating optimal conditions for the stable operation of power electronics is a critically important task. Similar to the design of a stand-alone modular compressor station, a complete life support system was implemented in these containers:

  • Industrial automation: Thanks to the engineering approach of Dalgakiran’s specialists, the technical solution provides for the seamless integration of the VFD control system into the customer’s existing SCADA system. The system provides continuous monitoring, telemetry data collection, and real-time visualization of the process.
  • Energy Conservation and Heat Recovery: The project implements the concept of “smart consumption.” The thermal energy generated by high-voltage converters during operation is not simply discharged outdoors but, through a heat recovery system, is directed toward heating the interior of the containers during the cold season.
  • Microclimate: The units are equipped with an intelligent automated ventilation and air conditioning system that maintains a strictly defined temperature and humidity level, protecting the converter circuit boards from overheating and condensation.
  • Safety and Ergonomics: The modules are equipped with an automatic fire alarm system, as well as general and emergency lighting. When designing the interior space, engineers strictly adhered to the standard dimensions for walkways. This ensures the complete safety of personnel during scheduled maintenance and comfort when performing routine work.
