A submersible pump is a cylindrical casing with a rotor with blades (impeller) mounted on a shaft. The shaft rotates with the help of an electric motor, and when the impeller rotates, the pumped liquid medium in the working chamber is thrown against the walls of the casing under the influence of the centrifugal force, and then pushed out into the discharge pipe. Simultaneously with this process, a region of rarefied air appears in the central part of the working chamber, due to which a new volume of pumped liquid is sucked in.
