FEATURES OF DIFFERENT MODELS

• STM-607W/910W/1220W/2440W/3650WType: water-type thermostat. Design: direct cooling thermostat to increase cooling efficiency. Suitable for controlling at low temperatures or lowering the mold temperature with an automatic water supply device. Limit temperature 120°C.
• STM-607/910/1220/2440/3650:oil type thermostat. Oil is used as a cooling medium, which provides effective temperature control. Limit temperature is 200°C.
• STM-607PW/910PW/1220PW:Water-type thermostat (pressurized water). The highest temperature can reach 140/240°C. The high pressure pump is made in Germany.
• STM-907HT/1215HT/2440HTHigh temperature type thermostat. A more stable high temperature oil is used. The controller is equipped with a high temperature pump. The highest temperature can reach 300°C, it is used for long-term operation at high temperature conditions.
• STM-607W/0/1207W/O:2-stage model used exclusively for bakelite casting. It uses oil as a cooling medium.

THE PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION OF THE THERMOSTAT

The coolant (oil) flows from the molding (D) into the cooling tank, then is pumped by a pump (F) through the tube heater tank (H). After that, the coolant goes to the molding (C). If the temperature of the coolant rises, the solenoid valve (E) is activated, allowing water to enter the cooling tank to lower the temperature of the coolant. If the oil overheats, the temperature sensor (M) activates an alarm. If the sensor (P) detects that the oil level in the reservoir (I) falls below the minimum level, the microswitch activates the alarm.
