Mobile Nitrogen Compressor Station (MNCS)

The mobile nitrogen compressor station PAKS-250 is designed to compress atmospheric air and produce an explosion-proof gas mixture with an oxygen content of no more than 10%, and is used in testing and development of oil and gas wells, as well as in the construction and repair of gas pipelines.
The station is made on the basis of a reciprocating opposed six-stage air-cooled compressor. The drive is a CAT or DEUTZ diesel engine.
The gas separation unit is made on the basis of polymeric polyfiber membranes. The equipment is mounted on a MAN, IVECO or KrAZ truck.

PACS has a number of advantages over a stationary compressor station:

• Saving time. PACS can be quickly transported to the desired location, which is extremely important for the development of oil and gas wells. This makes it possible to solve the problem of nitrogen supply faster than the construction and installation of a stationary station.
• Saving money. Compared to the construction and connection of a stationary compressor station, the cost of installing a CNG station can be lower. It also avoids the cost of extensive engineering work associated with connecting to the grid.

The main complex parts of the station

1. Chassis of MAN, IVECO or KrAZ vehicles
2. Air-cooled reciprocating compressor with limited lubrication of the piston groups;
3. Driven diesel compressor from CAT or DEUTZ with liquid closed circulation cooling;
4. Compressed gas air cooling unit by compressor stage;
5. A gas separation unit based on cartridges made of polyester membranes (made in the USA) with a set of filter elements and sensors;
6. Energy-saving and automatic control system, monitoring and automatic protection against emergency parameter values;
7. Station container for protection against precipitation and sunlight;
8. A set of connecting pipelines for connecting the station in a well or other equipment (consumer);
9. A set of spare parts.
