IDEAL MAKINA Oxygen Generators

Gaseous oxygen production plants based on IDEAL MAKINA generators utilise PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) technology. The 21 models in the standard range have a capacity ranging from 0.6 to 390 cubic metres of oxygen per hour at a specified concentration of 90–95%. Thanks to the technology employed, these stations are capable of producing oxygen in ‘field’ conditions from the surrounding atmospheric air on a 24/7 basis.

PSA oxygen plants offer a cost-effective, continuous and safe alternative to traditional sources such as liquid (cryogenic) oxygen and cylinders. All the equipment used in the plants is fitted with an automatic control system, which allows the plant to be started and stopped according to current oxygen demand.

A standard PSA oxygen plant consists of a screw compressor, compressed air filters and dryers, a carbon column, a compressed air receiver, an oxygen generator and a receiver for the produced gas of the specified concentration. Atmospheric air compressed by the screw compressor passes through an air preparation system (dust removal and moisture removal) and is fed under pressure into the gas generator, which consists of two columns filled with molecular sieves. The compressed air passes through one of the columns, where oxygen is separated (adsorbed) from nitrogen, argon, carbon dioxide and other gases, which are released into the atmosphere. While one column of the generator is in operation, the other undergoes a regeneration process. The alternating operation of the gas generator columns allows oxygen to be produced continuously. The oxygen produced is then fed into the gas storage and distribution system for supply to consumers.

The Turkish gas generator manufacturer IDEAL MAKINA produces both industrial oxygen plants and medical oxygen generators. IDEAL MAKINA equipment holds all the necessary certifications for the use of oxygen produced for medical purposes: ISO 13485:2016, ISO 7396-1:2016, and the Medical Devices Directive 93/42/EEC. Medical oxygen is produced in accordance with the standards of the European Pharmacopoeia.

In addition to its standard range of oxygen generation units producing oxygen with a purity of up to 95%, ‘Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine’ offers solutions for producing ultra-high-purity oxygen, utilising two stages of IDEAL MAKINA gas generators. Thanks to the second stage of the adsorption process, the gas generator removes nitrogen, argon and other gases and substances remaining after the first stage, enabling oxygen concentrations of up to 99.5% to be achieved.

Dalgakiran offers three options for installing oxygen stations:

• a separate set of equipment within the building;
• on a compact mobile platform;
• a station housed in an all-weather container with an independent heating and air-conditioning system.
